Behind Vertex Recruit
Recruiting in New Zealand’s technology sector since 2013, Ed is recognised for bringing great talent together to build high-performing teams. After leading recruitment for prominent software consultancies and agencies, he founded Vertex Recruit - a New Zealand-owned tech specialist agency.
Before recruitment, Ed led experiential learning, group facilitation, and outcome-focused programmes in the outdoor education sector. These experiences shaped his people-focused approach, where listening, storytelling, and long-term relationship building come first.
At Vertex Recruit, we partner with product, digital, and service organisations across New Zealand - from ambitious startups to established enterprises – helping clients attract and retain the talent they need. As an active member of RCSA, CanterburyTech, and NZ TechAlliance, he regularly contributes at industry events. Outside of work, you’ll find him cycling, climbing peaks and enjoying the slopes in winter.
